The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Graineyhill, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have lost its off fore front shoe, otherwise was post race normal.

The Stewards received a report from Mr. W. Fleming, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr. C. Fahy, rider of Tens Or Better, weighed in at 1.5 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. C. Fahy was in breach of Rule 231 and having taken his previous record into account suspended him for 2 racedays.
